Day 90: Mommy's Shoes

The girls have this new obsession with my shoes. They like putting them on and Paige will try to walk around in them. She's actually pretty good at walking around with one of my sneakers on. I like Virginia's taste in shoes- she's wearing one of my sassy new red wedges. She just needs to learn that one foot goes in a shoe, not both feet in the same shoe! And Paige, as usual, is trying to put on my sneaker.

Day 89: Spaghetti Night

We had Pork Chops Parmesan with spaghetti for dinner. Paige really enjoyed it- what made it into her mouth at least. A good portion of the sauce ended up on her face. But that's okay- that's why she was wearing a bib. Next time, though, we'll probably do this meal on a bath night.

Day 88: Sweet Girls

It's not very often that I get a really good picture of both girls looking at the camera and smiling, so when I get one I just have to use it as my photo of the day. Here are Virginia and Paige full of smiles.

Day 87: Snacktime at Mimi and Pops' House

We went over to Mimi and Pops' house for dinner tonight. We went over right after naps so we had a snack before playing for awhile before dinner. Mimi had a platter of food ready for snack: pita with hummus, grapes and honey butter sticks. Paige made herself at home, filled up her bowl with pita and honey butter sticks and sat down in her rocking chair with her bowl and her cup of water. I think she was a fan of the snack Mimi put together. Better than the Goldfish that she normally gets at home, I guess.

Day 86: Playtime at the Table

This afternoon the girls decided they wanted to play with their toys at the dining room table. So they took their building blocks and some books over and started putting them on the table. They had a lot of fun playing there before we made them start cleaning up so that we could eat dinner. Here's Paige with the bucket of toys in the chair with her and more toys and books on the table.

Day 84: Classic Paige

For some reason Paige likes to walk around with her tongue hanging out of her mouth quite often. Today she was doing it out on the deck and I snapped this picture.
